The student teacher was then told off by him for sending the boy outside without good reason and that she should understand the seriousness of sending pupils out of class.
I guess that made him a kind of fair guy.
As for the headmaster, well he was strict, a right bully and I wonder his patrols were well mean’t or was he just a sadist? In either case he must have had little to do apart from caning.
The anticipation of being found outside the class or with luck not being found must have been frightening.
Anyone else have that kind of thing at school?
