She nodded and made a hushing gesture.
“OK,” he said. “I won’t tell anyone.”
“Thanks,” Megan replied, giving him a quick peck on the cheek. She wished she could go further, but she was liable to get soaked. Besides, they had a job to finish.
Deanna was hoisted off the pool table and repositioned on her knees. Her hands remained bound behind her and her eyes seemed vacant and sad. Ron wondered if she was as ticklish as Megan. He decided to find out. Surely enough, a fit of giggles erupted from Deanna’s mouth as he tickled her sides and feet.
“You asshole, stop!” she muttered in between laughter.
“You understand why we’re doing this, right?” Megan asked.
“Blackmail,” Deanna grumbled.
