She returned to her room and began jotting a few things down in her journal. It seemed as if the dust had finally settled. She wouldn’t have to worry about Deanna anymore, Carrie was back on speaking terms with Mom and Dad and things at work had cooled off. All of which, to some extent or another, were thanks to or because of her. And while she savored the expression of gratitude on her sister’s face, she received precious little thanks.
“Psst…Meg,” Carrie interrupted.
“Sick of it already?”
“No,” Carrie answered, beginning to blush. “I need changing.”
Megan chuckled. “Really?”
“Mmm-hmm.”
“OK, looks like I have the honors.”
Utilizing a pair of scissors to remove the excess tape, Megan took off Carrie’s diaper and wiped her behind.
“That tickles!” Carrie complained.
