“So,” Nancy said the following morning as she changed Megan’s wet diaper. “I see you have your sister in diapers too.”
“It’s what she wanted,” Megan replied.
“I hope you are handling it responsibly.”
“Yes, Mom, I am. She’s going to work with me today and I’m going to keep an eye on her.”
“Hmm….”
“What?” Megan asked.
“It seems as if you’ve gone from defending her liberty at all odds to becoming very concerned with her well being. Why the sudden change?”
“I don’t know.”
