I know I did get this one adorable skirt which, I thought, would be ideal for my date with Peter. I also found this wonderful perfume. Having said that both mum and me came back smelling really womanly from all the scents we had tried.
“You must try that top with that flowing skirt. They came from different shops and I want to be sure they co-ordinate,” said mum. “Your dad will be home from his golf soon, but I think we just have time. I know you’ll look beautiful”. And beautiful I did look, I thought to myself as I stared into the mirror. Surely this can’t be the James I knew just a few weeks ago.
