h. Call them the first time from a pay phone.
i. Try to meet in a place where you’re known.
j. Make sure that you say “hi” to some of these people while the new (friend) is with you – even introduce them to your friend.
k. Before a meeting, ask them for as much information as possible – Sexual orientation, last HIV test date, D/D ‘freeness and discretion, > expectations of each other, likes and dislikes, > etc. – Qualify ’em !
l. Have a charged up cell phone with you.
m. always have the phone numbers of a few ‘sisters’ or friends handy
