Getting ready for college as a boy again was different this term. Mum gave me a bandage to wrap around my chest for a start. “It will keep any protrusions down and won’t make your shirt stand out,” she said.
Once there I also felt very different. I felt sort of out of place. For once I think I could relate to the girls who were also coming back to college. Strangely I think that sometimes I felt the boys eyeing me up. Now that was very subconscious, and possibly down to my long hair.
