I suffered 2 separate beatings in that fashion, one of 10 lashes across my bare feet and one of 20. I also spent some time in prison in a tiny little piss hole country most people had never heard of called Equatorial Guinea, Where the minute you step out of line you get you flogged till you cry irregardless off your gender and usually across your feet until you realize te amount of hell you are suffering doesn’t even begin to equate to whatever crime you committed to warrant getting whipped in the first place. It HURTS. And is a kind of hell I would not wish on my darkest enemy, let alone anyone else, regardless of what that person’r crime might have been.
